While serving on the Governing Board of Directors for Theatre Denton, Mindy designed several show posters for the organization, including materials for the locally produced fundraiser productions Motherhood and Motherhood 2. She also developed graphis for a social media campaign promoting the Theatre School’s Summer Camps.
The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play written in 1996 by Eve Ensler which developed and premiered at HERE Arts Center, an off-off-Broadway venue in New York, and was followed by an off-Broadway run at the Westside Theatre. Theatre Denton produced a show for their Black Box Theatre.
Motherhood, a Donna Trammell Original, was produced as a fundraiser for Theatre Denton. Using members from the community, this all-ages show channeled Mother Goose and was performed Mother's Day weekend. The design was meant to be doubled as a coloring page for the kids' imaginations to have fun with enough room for them to add their own characters to the page.
Stephen King's 1987 novel Misery has been adapted as a play several times, notably by Simon Moore and William Goldman, who also wrote the 1990 film. Theatre Denton produced a Black Box production. The poster design was inspired by the famous gruesome scene.
Motherhood 2, a Donna Trammell Original, was produced as a fundraiser for Theatre Denton. Using members from the community, this all-ages show told the story of Denton, Texas. The design highlighted a red cowboy boot, in place of the ruby slippers, leading the viewer to the Denton Downtown Square.
